Pollard Donation to BIBIC

Directors from Bridgwater based contractor, Pollard, recently presented a cheque to bibic to assist this national, yet locally based charity which works with children affected by a range of sensory, neurological and learning difficulties and supports their families. The company raised over £1400 at a sporting dinner which they sponsored organised by former England Rugby Union player and British Lion, David Duckham OBE.

Managing Director, Bill Badham said

“We have had an on-going relationship with bibic for some time. To be able to present this latest cheque is particularly pleasing given the current difficult economic conditions which has an enormous impact on the ability of organisations such as bibic, which rely very heavily on fund raising, to continue the very important work that they do”.

Bibic Chief Executive John Bennett commented “We have a long and valued relationship with the team at Pollard and despite the challenging economic environment, they have come up trumps once more. Our children and families are indebted to their team, their suppliers and their customers who have supported this event so well. This generosity will make a real difference to many whom may be isolated, confused and in real need. Thank you all”
